The REX is a rough and tumble tool. REX stands for Rescue. Escape. Xtract. The REX model was made for the unexpected. Whether its a First Responder breaking glass and prying a door to rescue someone in a car accident, escaping a building that was hit by a natural disaster, breaching a door, opening containers or for Military Operators opening a window to get a sniping position, the REX is a personal and compact breaching tool that’s easily carried in molle webbing or in a backpack so operators can keep it close by. The REX is an essential tool for SWAT, First Responders, Fire Fighters, Patrol Officers, Search and Rescue, and Military Field Ops.
The REX’s simple design allows all sides of the tool to be used. The operator can strike the back of the tool to drive the chisel tip into door jams or brick walls. The 1/4in thick spine has plenty of heft to make a great hammer for nails or spikes. The Paracord handle provides plenty of grip and can easily be replaced. Simply rewrap the handle if it were to ever wear out.
